The dates of December 7th and 8th will be remembered as a milestone in the Eurojam calendar: Treviso hosted the first-ever EJ Weekend, the inaugural meeting that officially launched the preparatory work for our upcoming events. As the very first gathering of its kind, the energy and sense of responsibility among the participants were the true highlights of the weekend.
What happened during the weekend
The meeting was structured as a dynamic “operations hub.” Beyond the moments of fellowship, the work focused on several key pillars:
- Strategic Planning: Since this was the debut session, Saturday was dedicated to defining the organizational roadmap, establishing logistical priorities, and identifying key roles for group coordination.
- Operational Workshops: Discussion tables were set up to design the educational program, aiming to create activities that blend scouting traditions with modern challenges.
- Logistics: Part of the time was spent analyzing venue requirements and resource management to ensure safety and sustainability standards for all future participants.
- Vision Sharing: Leaders shared the core values of the Eurojam project, ensuring that every future decision remains aligned with the spirit of unity and brotherhood that defines us.
This first meeting in Treviso did more than just produce technical results; it cemented the team, transforming a group of volunteers into a cohesive unit ready to lead Eurojam toward success. The journey has begun in the best possible way!
