Eurojam 2027 will gather scouts and guides in Ampezzo and Socchieve, in the Italian Alps, for a true international scout camp, focused on patrol life, faith, friendship and adventure. The motto says it all: Verso l’Alto, Upward. The mountain is calling.
The meaning of our logo
Every element tells a story:
- A compass, that points in the right direction: to the north, to the direction of our own path to God;
- The word Eurojam in Morse code;
- The morse, the date and the word Eurojam are all markings on the compass;
- The scout lily as the flag at the top of the tent and the needle of the compass;
- The 12 stars of the European flag, two of which have been transformed into scouts helping each other to move forward the three mountains represent the Ampezzo-Socchieve mountains but also the Trinity;
- The middle mountain is a tent, referring to the scout camp;
- The Italian flag of the welcoming country;
- The inscription “Verso l’alto” written in Pier Giorgio Frassati’s original handwriting;
Much more than just a scout camp
Eurojam 2027 will gather up to 8000 scouts and guides. For ten days, patrols from across Europe and beyond will camp and pray together. This is how peace is built, one campfire at a time. This event will be the perfect moment to celebrate 70 years of UIGSE, to celebrate who we are, where we come from, and where we are going…upward.
